Who Is D.J.S.H.O.D.A.N.?

You can call me SHODAN–it’s been my nickname for a few years now. I started DJing because I wanted to share the rich history of music that built the subgenres we know and love today, as well as make people uncomfortable with sterilized alternative culture and reflect on where they stand in their being and practice.

I particularly adore old-school industrial, EBM, industrial techno, and harsh noise. I believe in demolishing the idea of entertaining a tired, polished, gentrified club atmosphere and challenging the crowd to reflect on the world around them through sound.

Industrial is political. Industrial is a state of mind. Fuck ICE, your bigotry, and predictability.
